Job Purpose
Join DBS as an Analyst in the Ops COO – Nostro Reconciliation Unit (NRU), where you will play a key role in supporting critical banking operations and reconciliation activities across the Group. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manage reconciliation system processes, including static data maintenance, statement uploads, and data feeds monitoring, to ensure timely delivery of Nostro reconciliation reporting across 15 entities.
Support the analysis, design, and testing of auto-match rules to enhance reconciliation effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Identify and escalate processing exceptions, errors, and abnormal issues on a timely basis.
Respond to internal and external stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner.
Build strong knowledge of relevant workflows and source systems, and contribute to process improvement initiatives that strengthen controls, reduce risk, and improve productivity.
Support the preparation of insightful weekly and monthly MIS reporting for senior management and key stakeholders.
Support testing activities, analyse results, and provide observations to the Project Manager.
Contribute to process enhancement initiatives by leveraging emerging and existing technologies, including opportunities in Agentic AI-enabled solutions.
Ensure all work is performed in line with established standard operating procedures, policies, standards and guides
Maintain full compliance with all bank policies, guidelines, and codes of conduct.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure Nostro reporting SLAs across all entities are met.
- Ensure static data and feed management activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Support the implementation of auto-match rules and achievement of auto-match rate KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in banking operations, process optimisation, data-driven problem solving, and/or technology-enabled transformation.
- Graduates with strong academic results, as well as candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience, are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to gather information, identify issues, interpret data, and derive practical insights.
Skills
Strong learning agility and adaptability in navigating new systems, processes, and business challenges.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to assess issues critically and support effective solutions.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the maturity and confidence to work across teams and functions.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft EXCEL is required, with PowerPoint skills considered an advantage
Familiarity with SQL, Python, or data analytics tools will be an advantage.
