Business Analyst

· We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Banking or Wealth Management to support business transformation and technology initiatives.
· The ideal candidate will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, analyse business processes, and deliver high-quality solutions within Agile environments.
· Candidates must possess Banking/Wealth Management business experience or Avaloq functional and/or technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
· Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
· Facilitate workshops and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define solution requirements.
· Analyse business processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements. Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and user stories.
· Support solution design, requirement validation, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
· Work closely with development, testing, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
· Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews.
· Support regional or multi-location implementation projects and ensure successful solution delivery.
Required Experience
· 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Banking or Financial Services.
· Strong domain expertise in one or more of the following: Wealth Management / Private Banking Credit & Lending Investments / Capital Markets Digital Banking
· Experience working with banking and investment platforms such as: Avaloq Hands-on experience in Agile, Scrum, or iterative delivery environments.
Minimum Requirements
· Candidates must have either: Banking or Wealth Management business experience, or Functional and/or technical experience with Avaloq.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
· Experience facilitating workshops and engaging cross-functional teams.
· Ability to work independently in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments.
· Strong documentation and requirement management skills.
