Team Lead, Service Operations

  • Lead a team of technicians in daily operations
  • Work and resource planning
  • Coordinating daily customer site jobs
  • Coordinating with vendors to secure operational or logistical support as needed
  • Servicing, testing, and repair of customer equipment such as engine stands, tripod jacks and other aviation related equipment
  • Ensuring that service reports and other relevant documentation is sent to customers in a timely manner
  • Monitor job progress and intervene when necessary, ensuring service orders are completed on a timely basis
  • Drive adoption of Lean and implement Continuous Improvement Plans to increase operational effectiveness and improve productivity
  • Monitor and actively drive safety standards within the team
  • Enforce and implement best practices & culture in proper housekeeping, disciplines, and standard work

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum Higher Nitec in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in handling and interpreting technical drawings
  • Service background in engineering, automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace, or related sectors (expertise in mechanical and hydraulic service work will be a strong plus)
  • Proven record of handling work and resource planning, as well as leading a team in day to day operations
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems - SAP would be an advantage
