Job Scope

The key duties and responsibilities include but are not restricted to the following:

• To look after, handle, and care for students with higher emotional needs during curriculum time and/or duties as assigned by School Leaders or HOD Student Well- Being and Development.

Requirements

• Qualification: Minimum GCE ‘O’ level with a pass in English

a. Experience handling difficult situations / people / youths

b. Working within an educational environment

c. Expertise in counselling

• Good communication and inter-personal skills.

• Good team player with a high level of initiative

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Preferably trained first aider. *Selected candidate who is not trained first aider may receive training as first aider

Contract Duration: 11 August 2026 to 23 October 2026

Working Arrangement

• Mondays to Fridays (school term only): 7.30am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break (unpaid) or as required/ requested by Student Management Team or School Leaders.

• Service not required during School Holidays, Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Location: Pasir Ris

Salary: $13 to $18 per hour (approx. $2,252 to $3,118 per month)
