IT Technician

Job Description & Requirements

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Technician to support daily operations in our IDC (Internet Data Centre). Successful candidates will perform 24×7 shift duties and ensure smooth operation of data centre facilities in accordance with Alibaba Cloud operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform 24×7 rotating shift duties in the IDC.

• Respond to incidents and execute work orders in accordance with SLA requirements.

• Monitor IDC environment and equipment through routine inspections.

• Identify operational risks and escalate incidents promptly.

• Record incident information accurately and prepare preliminary reports.

• Perform equipment installation, racking, cabling, deployment and maintenance.

• Execute work according to SOPs and ensure compliance with operational standards.

• Complete assigned tickets accurately while maintaining SLA performance.

• Support site surveys, on-site supervision and minor infrastructure works when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related disciplines.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Basic knowledge of servers, networking, cabling and data centre operations.

• Able to perform shift work (24×7 rotating shifts).

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
