Elite Etiquette & Social Graces Coach (Private Household)

Location : Singapore (Central Area)

Commitment : 1–2 sessions per week | 1 hour per session

Remuneration : SGD $150 – $200 per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

We are seeking an exceptional, highly refined private coach to guide a bright 5-year-old child through the foundational pillars of sophisticated social conduct. This is not merely a "manners class"—it is a bespoke mentorship designed to instil the quiet confidence, poise, and cultural literacy required to navigate high-society environments with ease.

The ideal candidate will act as a role model, transforming weekly sessions into engaging, age-appropriate experiences that feel like natural play while embedding lifelong habits of grace and courtesy.

Key Focus Areas

You will be responsible for cultivating the following skill sets through interactive, practical sessions:

• Polished Table Manners : Proper utensil use, napkin etiquette, posture at the table, and polite dining conversation—from casual tea parties to formal multi-course settings.

• Social Graces & Hosting Skills : Greeting guests with warmth and confidence, introducing others, hosting playdates with generosity, and understanding the art of being a thoughtful guest.

• Poise & Personal Grooming : Age-appropriate self-presentation, posture, body language, and the subtle art of carrying oneself with dignity.

• Conversation & Correspondence : Active listening, turn-taking in dialogue, remembering names, appropriate topics of conversation, and the fundamentals of thank-you notes.

• Grace & Courtesy : Empathy, patience, respect for others, and the ability to read social cues — skills that build genuine character, not just surface-level polish.

Candidate Profile – The Ideal Fit

We are looking for a candidate who embodies the very qualities they are hired to teach. The right individual will possess:

• Linguistic Excellence : Native English speaker with a flawless, refined command of the language (received pronunciation or neutral high-standard accent preferred).

• Distinguished Educational Background : Ideally, you will have trained at, or hold qualifications from, esteemed institutions such as Norland College, Debrett’s, or a prestigious UK finishing school. Equivalent high-level British private-sector experience in child development and etiquette will also be considered.

• Location & Legality : Currently residing in Singapore or holding a valid Singapore Employment Pass that allows for part-time engagement. (We are unable to sponsor passes for this role).

• Availability: Able to commence immediately or within a 4-week notice period.
