Resident Technical Officer (RTO) – Architectural & Interior Design (10+ Years Experience)

Roles & Responsibilities

· Supervise and inspect architectural, interior, and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

· Monitor site progress, identify delays, and report issues promptly.

· Review contractor submissions, inspection records, and project documentation.

· Conduct site inspections, material checks, testing, defect inspections, and verify rectification works.

· Coordinate with contractors, consultants, Resident Architects, and safety personnel to ensure smooth project execution and site safety.

· Maintain daily site records, inspection reports, approved samples, and project correspondence.

· Verify setting out, service routes, preliminaries, and work sequencing.

· Attend site meetings and provide standing supervision as required.

Requirements

· Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Building, or related discipline.

· Minimum 10 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer (Architectural & Interior Design) in construction projects.

· Strong knowledge of construction methods, architectural finishes, QA/QC procedures, and site supervision.

· Familiar with safety regulations, inspections, testing, and project documentation.

· Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
