Job Summary
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily production activities within the food manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Monitor production output, productivity, and quality to achieve operational targets.
- Allocate manpower effectively according to production requirements.
- Monitor machine utilization and report equipment issues to the maintenance team.
Food Safety & Quality
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations, HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and company food safety policies.
- Verify that production staff follow hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Conduct routine production and quality checks.
Staff Supervision
- Supervise production operators, packers, and general workers.
- Conduct daily production briefings and assign work duties.
- Train new employees on production procedures, food safety, and workplace safety requirements.
- Monitor employee performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
Workplace Safety
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
- Report and investigate workplace incidents or near misses.
Education
- Diploma, Higher NITEC, NITEC, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a food manufacturing or food production environment.
- At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience supervising production operators and coordinating daily manufacturing activities.
Skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- HACCP or Food Safety certification.
- Experience in central kitchen, ready-to-eat (RTE), frozen food, or catering food manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP or production management systems.
Working Conditions
- Based at the company's manufacturing facility in Tuas, Singapore.
- 5.5-day work week or rotating shifts, depending on operational requirements.
- May be required to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays during peak production periods.
- Work is performed in production areas, including chilled, cold-room, or temperature-controlled environments.
