We’re looking for an experienced

Lead Veterinary Technician / DVM to guide our nursing team, manage clinic operations, and oversee inventory control.

Position Overview

This leadership role blends hands-on clinical work with team management and operational oversight. The Lead Veterinary Technician / DVM will work alongside veterinarians, lead and mentor vet nurses, and ensure the clinic runs smoothly through efficient inventory management and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor veterinary nurses to maintain high standards of patient care
  • Perform veterinary examinations, diagnostics, and treatments as needed
  • Assist in surgical procedures and oversee post-operative care
  • Manage medical inventory — order supplies, track stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and medical protocols
  • Conduct staff training, performance reviews, and workflow planning
  • Collaborate with management to improve clinical and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a veterinary clinical setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with veterinary inventory systems is an advantage
