A joint venture company between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company. The company first started operations in 2001 and has since become a market leader for both engine overhaul and component repair services.
As a result of sustained business growth, SAESL has continued to expand its facilities and develop new capabilities for both its engine overhaul and component repair businesses. The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility that supports our best-in-class engine turnaround times.

Job Responsibilities Enterprise Frameworks & Operational Excellence
- Support the implementation and sustainment of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), Sustainability, Performance Standards & Data Analytics, and Lean Operating System frameworks and programmes.
- Collaborate with operational business units, the QSSRL team, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, compliance, and effective application of governance tools and reporting standards.
- Assist in maintaining and reviewing risk registers, business continuity plans, exercise records, sustainability initiatives, process documentation, and performance metrics.
- Support data mining, mapping, visualisation, and analysis to drive operational insights and continuous improvement.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with operational business units, the QSSRL team, and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate risk assessments, business continuity planning, and improvement initiatives.
- Participate in business continuity exercises and document outcomes, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
- Develop basic dashboards, process maps, and analytical reports to support operational performance and decision-making.
- Support the delivery of awareness sessions and basic training on risk management, business continuity, data collection and analysis, and Lean Operating System methodologies.
Project Management & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and analyse operational data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the planning and execution of transformation and continuous improvement projects using project management methodologies, including project charters, solution development, stage-gate processes, stakeholder communication, and implementation tracking.
- Manage assigned project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, escalations, and deliverables while measuring project outcomes against defined success criteria.
- Contribute to Lean and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) initiatives to improve operational efficiency across the organisation.
Reporting & Governance Support
- Assist in the collection, consolidation, and analysis of data for management reports, dashboards, and performance reviews.
- Prepare presentation materials, reports, and supporting documentation for management meetings and governance forums.
- Support communication initiatives, awareness campaigns, and engagement activities by developing presentation materials and coordinating event logistics.
Qualification / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Performance Standards, Data Analytics, Dashboard Development, Project Management, Quality, Risk Management, Compliance, Business Continuity, Sustainability, Operational Excellence, or a related field is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in these areas are encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g. Power BI and Power Automate) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data effectively.
- Basic knowledge of Python and C++ is an added advantage.
- Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions.
- Meticulous, responsible, and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to work.
