Responsibilities

Strategy & OE Delivery

Drive country and cluster OE agenda aligned with regional/global priorities (e.g., OMS, AD rollout, start-up excellence, sustainability).

Translate strategy into clear deployment plans, goals, and performance metrics.

Track and deliver OE outcomes and operational targets.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

Act as QHSE Management Representative, ensuring compliance with DHL standards and local regulations.

Oversee ISO certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001) and internal control frameworks.

Identify and close gaps in process, compliance, and governance.

Stakeholder & Customer Management

Partner country, cluster, and regional stakeholders to achieve OE and business goals.

Ensure delivery of service quality standards and contractual commitments.

Drive customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and feedback insights.

Operational Excellence & Transformation

Lead standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., OMS).

Drive digitalisation and data-driven performance management (LOGICS, MRP, BRM).

Advance sustainability/ESG initiatives aligned with DHL priorities.

Leadership & People

Lead, develop, and manage OE teams to deliver high performance.

Build capabilities aligned with DHL Leadership Attributes and FIRST CHOICE mindset.

Foster a culture of excellence, inclusion (DEIB), safety, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations Excellence, continuous improvement, or project management, with at least 1–2 years in a similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience operating within a matrix organisational structure.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks (e.g., QHSE, ISO standards).
  • Certification or training in structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS); experience in deploying or managing advanced automation/robotics solutions is a plus.
  • Demonstrated capability in leading large-scale programmes and complex project implementations, with strong leadership in driving team engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
