Senior Teradata Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale ETL/ELT solutions on the Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) platform.
- Develop and optimize complex Teradata SQL, BTEQ, and shell-script automation for large-scale batch processing.
- Build and support enterprise data ingestion, transformation, and data integration frameworks.
- Perform SQL performance tuning, workload optimization, and production support for mission-critical data platforms.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver enterprise data warehouse solutions.
- Support enterprise data modernization, automation, and batch scheduling using Control-M and related tools.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), ETL/ELT, Data Engineering, and enterprise data platform technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Teradata SQL, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPump, and TPT.
- Proven experience developing enterprise ETL/ELT solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and shell scripting.
- Strong expertise in SQL performance tuning, workload management, and large-volume data processing.
- Experience with Control-M or equivalent enterprise scheduling tools.
- Working knowledge of Hadoop technologies (Hive, Spark, Kafka) and enterprise data integration.
- Experience supporting banking, financial services, or other large enterprise data warehouse environments.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and production support experience.
Preferred
- Experience with Python, Git, Linux, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD practices.
- Exposure to enterprise cloud data platforms or data modernization initiatives.
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
