Stage Manager

Job Description & Requirements

The Stage Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all stage operations during performances and events. The role ensures smooth execution of live shows, performances, and entertainment activities by managing technical teams, performers, and backstage operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise stage operations for live performances and events

• Manage rehearsals and ensure performers follow programme schedules

• Coordinate with sound, lighting, and technical crews for show execution

• Prepare stage cues and ensure smooth transitions during performances

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and venue requirements

• Liaise with performers, DJs, hosts, and external event organisers

• Troubleshoot on-site technical or operational issues during events

• Oversee stage setup and dismantling after events

• Maintain inventory of stage equipment and coordinate maintenance
