Finance Manager

About the role

Payboy Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and own the company's full finance function. You will manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow and compliance, and act as the key finance partner to management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts and oversee monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports, with variance and financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning.
• Handle tax matters, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) filing, and ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense/payment approvals with proper internal controls.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and government agencies.
• Review and strengthen finance processes, controls and reporting templates for efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervise and guide junior finance staff.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (a professional accounting qualification is an advantage).
• Several years of relevant finance/accounting experience, including full-set accounting and financial reporting; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls and tax/GST compliance.
• Proficient with accounting/ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills (complex data processing, functions, reporting).
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-departmental communication skills.
