AGV Service & Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a qualified and skilled AGV Service &Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of AutomatedGuided Vehicle (AGV) systems deployed in healthcare and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on AGV systems and associated equipment.
- Attend breakdown calls and carry out troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and restoration of AGV systems.
- Inspect, test, calibrate, and commission AGVs, battery charging systems, conveyors, PLC panels, HMI, sensors, motors, encoders, and network devices.
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance works.
- Replace defective components and verify system performance after repairs.
- Prepare service reports, preventive maintenance checklists, and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and company safety procedures.
- Work closely with customers to ensure system availability and operational reliability.
Requirements
- Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in AGV, AMR, industrial automation, conveyor systems, PLC controls, or electrical/mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of PLC systems, industrial networking, electrical control panels, sensors, and automation equipment.
- Able to interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience and knowledge of MLR AGV systems will be an added advantage.
