AGV Service & Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a qualified and skilled AGV Service &Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of AutomatedGuided Vehicle (AGV) systems deployed in healthcare and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on AGV systems and associated equipment.
• Attend breakdown calls and carry out troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and restoration of AGV systems.
• Inspect, test, calibrate, and commission AGVs, battery charging systems, conveyors, PLC panels, HMI, sensors, motors, encoders, and network devices.
• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance works.
• Replace defective components and verify system performance after repairs.
• Prepare service reports, preventive maintenance checklists, and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and company safety procedures.
• Work closely with customers to ensure system availability and operational reliability.

Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in AGV, AMR, industrial automation, conveyor systems, PLC controls, or electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, industrial networking, electrical control panels, sensors, and automation equipment.
• Able to interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience and knowledge of MLR AGV systems will be an added advantage.
