The Commercial & Investment Bank, the APAC Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) Business Management (BM) team plays a pivotal role in partnering with various internal and external stakeholders to execute business strategies, manage budgets, mitigate risks, oversee strategic governance and optimize daily operational workflows. It is a small team that delivers big impact across the region and amongst our global partners.

As a Business Management Associate within the APAC Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) team, you will support business management processes and related activities for the APAC WKO organization. You will contribute to key initiatives and projects across areas such as outsourcing, resiliency, headcount, communications, and management reporting, while building strong cross-functional partnerships and supporting process enhancements and performance optimization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support and drive key business management initiatives and projects, including outsourcing, resiliency, headcount, and communications.
  • Assist with management reporting requests, presentation development, and business analysis.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and act as a trusted partner to support the business and various functions.
  • Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and other organizational communications.
  • Support and facilitate projects and operational activities that contribute to process enhancements and performance optimization, based on business needs.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain internal resources and documentation.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Business Management or Project Management within the finance industry.
  • Analytical approach, quick learning ability, and proactive “can do” attitude to problem-solve new issues.
  • Strong partnership mindset and openness to performing new activities and establishing new process flows.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders and influence and negotiate effectively with business partners and vendors.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and familiarity with automation/visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Business Management within the finance industry.
  • Knowledge of other Asian languages is a plus as the role requires interaction with multiple Asian stakeholders and vendors.
  • Basic knowledge of AML procedures and standards is advantageous.
