Temp Dental Surgery Assistant

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Temp Dental Surgery Assistant to support dental procedures, patient care, and clinic operations for a 2–3 months assignment. The role involves assisting dentists during treatments, managing appointments, maintaining clinic cleanliness, and supporting administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-treatment care.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure proper handling of dental instruments and equipment.
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the dental clinic.
• Manage patient appointments and attend to patient enquiries.
• Handle billing and CHAS claims processing.
• Maintain inventory records and coordinate stock replenishment with vendors.
• Support administrative duties and liaise with relevant stakeholders when required.

Requirements

• GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Prior dental clinic or healthcare experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, organized, and detail oriented.
