A global fashion brand specialising in footwear and accessories, with over 100 stores across 19 countries in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and the USA, alongside a strong e-commerce presence.

The Merchandise Planning Manager is a strategic leader responsible for the financial health and inventory productivity of the brand across Singapore Retail and E-commerce channels. You will drive a unified "One Inventory" strategy, leveraging advanced analytics to optimise assortment architecture and pricing lifecycles to maximise profitability and protect brand equity.

Key Responsibilities

Omnichannel Strategy and Demand Planning

- Develop and oversee seasonal sales plans (OTB) for Singapore Retail and E-commerce, ensuring a cohesive strategy that maximises stock availability

- Build distinct forecasting models that account for different buying behaviours across retail and global e-commerce customers

- Align demand forecasts with inventory levels to optimise stock turnover, minimise excess inventory, and control carrying costs

Data Analysis and Performance Review

- Architect and maintain comprehensive reports and Power BI/Excel dashboards for executive decision-making

- Independently conduct deep-dive gap and opportunity audits across all categories, proactively identifying underperforming segments and high-growth trends

Collection Planning

- Lead core repeat assortment strategy for Singapore Retail and E-commerce, ensuring availability of high-velocity staples while managing exit strategies for slow-moving SKUs

- Analyse and prioritise inventory for Singapore Retail and Online Top Markets based on localised demand patterns and digital growth opportunities

Pricing and Margin Strategy

- Develop and implement dynamic pricing and margin frameworks to optimise profitability throughout the product lifespan across Singapore Retail and global online markets

- Conduct post-mortem reviews on promotional events and markdown cycles to evaluate price elasticity and inform future pricing strategies

What We Are Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail and Online Merchandising, or a related field

- 8 or more years of relevant experience in merchandise planning or a related function

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI

- Strong expertise in assortment planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management

- Solid understanding of relevant KPIs and retail/e-commerce metrics

- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced retail or fashion environment
