Plaster Technician Assistant | 1 Year Contract

Job Summary

Our client in the healthcare industry is seeking a Plaster Technician Assistant to support clinical procedures, patient care, and daily clinic operations. The role involves assisting healthcare professionals during procedures, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring a safe and efficient patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cast and splint application by preparing materials and supporting patient positioning.
• Assist with cast removal and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
• Maintain plaster room supplies and ensure equipment is clean and in good working condition.
• Provide basic patient assistance and clear instructions when required.
• Support appointment scheduling and follow-up arrangements.
• Assist with documentation, forms, and clinic workflow.
• Follow infection control, workplace safety, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication with patients and colleagues.

Requirements

• GCE ‘O’ Level to Higher NITEC in Science / Engineering.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.
