Job Summary
You will handle room reservations, coordinate guest requests, manage bookings and payments, and promote room sales to enhance revenue at Wyndham Singapore Hotel.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to room reservation enquiries via email and phone to ensure timely communication with guests
- Process credit card information and charges accurately for all prepaid reservations to secure payments
- Coordinate with operations to fulfill guest special requests and ensure smooth check-in experiences
- Input and update reservation details accurately in the reservation system to maintain current booking records
- Manage corporate, airline, and group bookings to support diverse client needs and maximize occupancy
- Follow up on advance deposits or prepayments to ensure timely receipt of payments
- Promote and upsell rooms actively to increase room revenue and enhance guest experience
- Manage "No shows" by coordinating with Front Office to apply appropriate charges
- Stay informed about hotel special rates, offers, and promotions and communicate updates effectively to guests
Required competencies and certifications
- NITEC or higher qualification
- Relevant working experience in the same position within the hospitality industry
- Proficient interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of using Opera Cloud reservation system
