Veterinary Assistant

Vet Central is an animal clinic with a particular focus on small mammals such as rabbits and guinea pigs, alongside dogs and cats. Since 2015, we've practised evidence-based, outcome-focused medicine, and we've built a strong reputation among pet owners for quality care and thoughtful service.

We're growing, and we're looking for vet nurses, vet technicians, and receptionists to join us.

• Privately owned by full-time practising vets — the people who run the clinic are the same people working in it day to day
• Well-equipped clinic, including: Stand-alone dental suite, Cone beam CT for advanced imaging, Electrocautery with vessel sealing, Ultrasound, Multi-parameter monitoring (including ETCO2), Laser therapy machine

The roles

Vet Nurse / Vet Technician

• Assisting with consults, procedures, and surgery
• Monitoring anaesthesia
• Running in-house diagnostics
• Caring for hospitalised patients
• Supporting owners through anxious moments

Receptionist

• First point of contact for clients and their pets
• Managing appointments
• Keeping the clinic running smoothly
