Authorisation - SaaS Security Consultant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Security Design & Support:

  • Support the design of role-based access control (RBAC) structures including job roles, duty roles, and data roles.
  • Assist in defining data security policies for HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, etc.).
  • Contribute to Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and remediation activities.
  • Work with functional teams to ensure access requirements are properly translated into security designs.

2. Configuration & Build:

  • Configure roles, role hierarchies, and data security policies within Oracle HCM SaaS.
  • Support validation exercises with business users and functional consultants.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving access issues, including over-provisioning and gaps.
  • Maintain configurations in Oracle Security Console.

3. Testing & Validation:

  • Support SIT and UAT activities by validating access scenarios and test cases.
  • Assist in defect analysis and resolution related to security configurations.
  • Ensure access aligns with approved design and business requirements.

4. Documentation:

  • Ensure traceability between requirements and implemented roles.
  • Follow established documentation standards and templates.
  • Maintain security documentation including Role catalogues, Access matrices and Security configuration documents.

5. User Access & Compliance Support:

  • Support user access provisioning activities under the Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) process.
  • Assist in access reviews and remediation activities.
  • Provide inputs and documentation for audit requests and compliance checks.
  • Help maintain audit-ready security configurations.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with functional consultants, IT teams, and business users.
  • Support workshops and requirement-gathering sessions (no ownership required).
  • Provide inputs to ensure security aligns with business processes.

7. Post-Go-Live Support:

  • Support hypercare activities including troubleshooting access issues.
  • Assist in ongoing maintenance of roles and security configurations.
  • Handle user queries related to access and security.

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • 5–10+ years of experience in Oracle HCM (Fusion) Security.
  • Hands-on experience in RBAC, roles (job, duty, data), and Security Console.
  • Exposure to SoD concepts and data security policies.
  • Experience supporting at least 1–2 full HCM implementations.
  • Familiarity with HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Absence, etc.
  • Experience in SIT/UAT support and issue resolution.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Desirable:

  • Oracle HCM Cloud certification.
  • Exposure to GRC tools or IAM platforms.
  • Basic understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, ITGC).
