Key Responsibilities
- Support laboratory technical staff and leadership with daily laboratory activities under general supervision.
- Perform various laboratory support functions including specimen processing, clerical duties, laboratory testing, and phlebotomy-related tasks where required.
- Welcome and assist patients professionally during sample collection activities.
- Verify and process laboratory orders accurately, seeking clarification from relevant clinical teams when needed.
- Ensure proper patient identification procedures and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
- Communicate laboratory test result information accurately to authorised clinical personnel while following established verification procedures.
- Maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance with laboratory protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Clinical Practice Technology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, or related disciplines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
- Meticulous with good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willing to work in the Central area.
