We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Sales Manager, Corporate Sales - Global Payments Solutions (GPS) .

In this role you will

  • Originate new to bank opportunities for the China ASEAN corridor
  • Lead and drive strategic sales with Large Local Corporates in Singapore
  • Drive and grow existing revenue streams and develop new revenue streams by identifying and selling innovative GPS solutions to a defined portfolio of clients maximizing commercial profitability via always enhancing relationship depth. This will include contributing to the pricing, reviewing and negotiating the full range of cash management services together with effecting any cost reduction initiatives required by the Group
  • Drive client engagement to provide better cash management solutions by identifying and building client needs
  • Create and lead deal teams to manage complex multi-country cash management transactions
  • To be recognized as a GPS specialist with an ability to display competent knowledge of relevant products and services with the jobholder’s area of responsibility
  • Develop the bank's presence in the market, leveraging sector expertise to position HSBC as the thought leader in the cash management space

To be successful you will need

  • Experience working in relevant environment(s), i.e. Cash Management/Transaction Banking - Managing Chinese Corporates and Large Corporate clients with proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing others, negotiating effectively in both Chinese (to facilitate business and conversations with Chinese Clients) and English Language.
  • Experience of building and selling in complex sales scenarios.
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills and comfort working at all levels of seniority, both within the HSBC organization and with the senior management of the client.
