Hair Salon Manager

SMILE & SHINE BEAUTY SALON PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Hair Salon Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing daily operations, managing financial performance, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring exceptional customer experience while maintaining the company's service standards.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue growth, profitability and long-term business objectives.
- Identify market trends, customer needs and opportunities to expand the company's service offerings and competitive position.
- Establish operational policies, procedures and service standards to improve business efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of salon operations.
Business & Financial Management
- Take full responsibility for the salon's financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, revenue forecasting and profit optimisation.
- Analyse business performance through sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Monitor operating expenses and maximise business productivity while maintaining service quality. Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, hygiene and regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory, procurement, supplier relationships and operational resources.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor and develop salon managers, hairstylists and support staff.
- Recruit, train and retain high-performing employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement staff development and succession planning initiatives.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and customer-focused workplace culture.
Marketing and Business Development
- Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, promotional activities and customer engagement initiatives.
- Build strategic partnerships to increase brand awareness and attract new business opportunities.
- Develop initiatives to strengthen customer retention and repeat business.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the hair, beauty, wellness or related industry, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing business operations and achieving commercial growth.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning and organisational skills.
- Experience managing budgets, financial reporting and business performance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced service environment.
