Senior Manager, Finance

The Senior Manager, Finance is responsible for leading and overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations for both corporate and vessel management activities, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The role encompasses the preparation and analysis of monthly corporate and vessel financial reports, management of cash flow, banking transactions and reconciliations, and oversight of accounts receivable and billing to vessel owners. The incumbent will be responsible for managing accounts payable, vendor payments, payroll administration for both office staff and vessel crews, including statutory submissions and tax reporting, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements such as GST filings and submissions to IRAS.

In addition, the Senior Manager, Finance will work closely with vessel owners, clients, manning agents, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely financial reporting, accurate crew wage administration, and effective management of vessel-related expenditures and liabilities. The role supports strategic business planning through the preparation of annual budgets, long-term financial forecasts, and management reporting, whilst providing financial insights to the Operations team on the performance of managed vessels. The incumbent will also be responsible for preparing annual financial statements and audit schedules, supporting external audit processes, fostering strong relationships with suppliers and service providers, and ensuring sound financial governance across the organisation. The position requires a proactive and hands-on leader who can manage multiple priorities while undertaking administrative and ad hoc duties as required to support business objectives.
