Education required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a full-time credit-bearing internship
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English
Internship period : January 2027 to June 2027 (based on your school’s internship period)

What will you do?
Manage administration of all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)-related Training including materials and schedule
Provide EHS support to the site and provide accurate and where necessary, consistent professional advice that enables them to manage and improve their EHS performance
Work with Operations to ensure Workplace Risk Assessments
are suitable, sufficient, meets necessary standard and updated
Reinforce and promote improvements to the site’s safety culture
Conduct office and site inspections, support problem solving,
root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective and
preventive actions to rectify issues within agreed timelines
Assist in areas with inspections to get a consistent approach across site, coaching site-based representatives in EHS, increasing their EHS capabilities, and competence to effectively manage the environment
Providing administration support to the team and supporting the Site EHS Lead
Collate data for presentation and escalation at Site EHS Council and EHS Committee
What will you learn?
Understand and manage the EHS Operations which includes
engineering principles, compliance and day to day operational challenges.
Understand risk management principles including identification and mitigation.
Improve your influencing skills.
Understand principles of project management.
What are we looking for?
Knowledge in technical EHS would be advantageous
Proficient in use of IT and Microsoft Office softwares
Strong written and oral communication skills
Deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment
Awareness and ability to work within culturally diverse teams
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and work
independently, and problem-solve
Strong drive for performance and attention to details
A passion for knowledge
