Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and presented to hotel standards. The role leads room attendants and public area attendants, inspects work quality, manages schedules, supports training, and helps maintain a safe and efficient housekeeping operation
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily work of housekeeping staff
Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and standards are met
Assign duties, prepare shift schedules, and arrange coverage for absences
Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, guidance, and corrective action when needed
Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment
Maintain stock levels of linens, amenities, and housekeeping supplies
Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally
Coordinate with front office, engineering, and other departments on room status and maintenance issues
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
Assist with lost and found handling, deep cleaning projects, and room inventory control.
