Job Summary

Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals to promote pharmaceutical products, achieve sales targets, and support business growth through effective territory planning and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain professional relationships with general practitioners, specialists, private hospitals, medical centres, and other healthcare professionals to enhance product reach and trust
  • Communicate product features, clinical benefits, and therapeutic value clearly to healthcare professionals to drive product adoption
  • Plan and execute territory visits regularly to maximise coverage and identify business opportunities
  • Deliver engaging product presentations and educational sessions to increase awareness and utilisation of pharmaceutical products
  • Collect and analyse market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business strategies and product positioning
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, call reports, and sales activities using CRM systems to support sales tracking and reporting
  • Participate actively in product training programmes and stay informed on new product launches and industry developments to maintain expertise
  • Ensure all customer interactions comply with company policies and industry ethical standards to uphold professional integrity
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through strategic territory planning and effective customer engagement

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or higher qualification in any discipline
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare-related sales
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare landscape in Singapore
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse healthcare stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders
  • Self-driven with effective organisational, time management, and territory planning skills
  • Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence with willingness to travel within assigned territory
  • Proficient command of spoken and written English

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience using CRM systems to manage customer data and sales activities
