Production Manager

Job Description

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
• Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards.
• Manage and supervise production staff, including training, performance evaluation, and workforce planning.
• Coordinate with other departments such as Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness through process improvements.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Prepare production reports, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage production budgets, inventory usage, and resource allocation effectively.

Requirements

• Diploma and above
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing principles is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production planning.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
