BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead international analytics team: Mentor analysts, manage projects for global market growth.
  • Strategic international analysis: Partner with leadership to identify needs, analyze global data for trends and opportunities, develop predictive models.
  • Global reporting & performance: Standardize dashboards to track international performance for HQ and regions.
  • Cross-regional stakeholder management: Be the analytics partner for international leadership, communicate insights to executives.
  • Data governance & infrastructure: Ensure data quality and contribute to data strategy for international analytics.
  • Strategic Initiatives Support: Analyze macroeconomics, industry trends; support external collaborations, internal projects, and provide input for strategic decisions (including M&A).
  • Market Research: Conduct industry and competitive analysis to support strategic projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline).
  • 7-9+ years in business intelligence/data analytics, with proven impact.
  • 5-6+ years in leadership, managing analytics teams and projects (International experience preferred).
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate intricate data insights and strategic analyses into high-impact, actionable international business strategies and recommendations for strategic initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities, with a passion for fostering growth within the team and across collaborative projects.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment and across complex strategic projects.
  • Strong business acumen, with a particular understanding of international market dynamics, consumer behaviour, competitive landscapes, and the principles of strategic business development.
  • FMCG/CPG industry experience, ideally international.
  • Experience at a regional/international HQ.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for effective communication within our international headquarters and with global stakeholders.
