Safety Officer

Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with WSH Act, MOM, and NEA safety requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures
- Enforce safety rules, procedures, and safe work practices on-site
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions
- Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment by all workers
- Liaise with Operations Managers, supervisors, and external authorities
- Monitor high-risk activities (e.g. lifting, marine operations, machinery use)
Requirements
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction, marine, or logistics industry preferred
- Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and enforcement ability
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Able to work on-site and handle multiple locations if required
