Position Title: L1 / L2 English language Assistant Teacher
Working Days: Mon - Fri
Working Hours: 830AM - 430PM
Location: Orchard area
Salary : Up to $2500
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist the Main Teacher in planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate learning activities.
- Support classroom routines and daily programmes in accordance with the preschool curriculum.
- Prepare teaching materials, learning resources, and classroom displays.
- Guide and supervise children during lessons, indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and rest time.
- Foster a safe, caring, and positive learning environment that supports children's holistic development.
- Observe children's learning and behaviour, and provide feedback to the Main Teacher.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organisation, and learning resources.
- Assist with documenting children's learning progress and classroom activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with ECDA regulations, health and safety guidelines, and centre policies.
What We're Looking For
- Recognised ECDA L2 certification.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Teaching) or equivalent.
