Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician/Engineer to deliver exceptional technical support. Join our dynamic team to ensure high-quality service and maintenance of customer-supplied products.

Responsibilities

• Execute production, service, repair, installation, factory acceptance testing, field construction, plant commissioning, sea trials, and inspections of customer-supplied products.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and comply with ISO standards, including Job Safety Analysis and Work Method Statements

• Requisition key equipment and materials as required.

• Collaborate with customers regarding installation requirements such as hot work, welding, carpentry, and cabling.

• Communicate additional customer requirements to management.

• Ensure all work meets acceptance criteria as outlined in the technical/installation manual.

• Aid in the preparation of designs, drawings, and documentation to meet customer technical specifications.

• Develop and enhance a complete field support process for all products.

• Identify and log quality issues related to products or services.

• Take responsibility for handling and using inspection, measuring, and test equipment.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management and engineering teams.

Requirements

• NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in repair work.

• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge and experience in marine electronics or the offshore industry is an advantage.
