Job Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day sales activities, including handling sales inquiries, preparing and following up on quotations/tenders, and addressing customer feedback
  • Plan and implement tactical sales action plans to grow sales and profit margins, achieving sales targets and performance goals
  • Create new contacts and develop new businesses opportunities
  • Provide technical sales and marketing support to customers
  • Stay informed of market and industry trends, as well as competitors, and collaborate with stakeholders to maximise sales and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and trade requirements
  • Manage all Trade Accounts Receivable for customers under your care, ensuring zero bad debts
  • Achieve KPIs and other work assigned by the management
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering, Sales & Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of technical sales or customer service experience in the building materials/ construction industry preferred
  • Experience in project management and managing relationships with external stakeholders
  • A strong team player with excellent communication, presentation and customer relationship skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Possess a Class 3 Driving Licence with own vehicle
  • Willingness to work in a construction site or dusty environment
