Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers (physical and virtual).
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, and permissions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and perform backups.
- Support cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Implement security updates, patch management, and assist with vulnerability assessments.
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
- Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in System Administration.
- Good experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) required.
