Responsibilities

  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of IT products, software functionalities, and healthcare workflows.
  • Engage in product training programs and self-development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to address customer requirements.
  • Develop an understanding of laboratory workflows, middleware, and healthcare software integration.
  • Stay informed on product enhancements and software updates.
  • Assist with software installations, configurations, testing, and implementations.
  • Provide first-line support for customer queries related to healthcare software.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance and system health evaluations.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior specialists.
  • Support customer training sessions and workshops.
  • Help prepare training materials, user guides, and relevant documentation.
  • Maintain accurate service records and activity logs.
  • Participate in software validation and interface testing.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including Sales and Application Specialists, on project activities.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Submit monthly reports on activities and customer support initiatives.
  • Document customer issues and follow-up actions effectively.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Health Sciences, or Information Technology (preference for healthcare IT interest).
  • Up to 2 years of relevant work experience in a hospital laboratory, healthcare setting, customer support, or IT role.
  • Prior experience with laboratory information systems or healthcare software is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Fundamental understanding of hospital laboratory operations.
  • Proficient in basic computer usage, including Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Enthusiasm for healthcare software and IT systems.
  • Eagerness to learn about software troubleshooting and system interfacing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to learn quickly and function effectively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • A commitment to positive customer service.
