We’re looking for an ambitious student to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program to:

  • support the delivery of projects or workstreams with a focus on high-quality outcomes
  • engage in ongoing tracking and review of project health and performance, reporting progress and recommending changes
  • structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them
  • synthesize complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations
  • communicate effectively with all audiences across Global Wealth Management in a structured manner
  • work effectively with diverse teams to develop the best solution

Your team

Group Internal Consulting (GIC) is UBS's internal consultant unit. We are a driven and diverse team with over 700 people present in 4 regions across the globe. Part of the Group Integration Office (GIO), we work in close partnership with all divisions and functions to drive integration, transformation and change across UBS, supporting our firm in achieving its strategic goals. Our focus is on delivering high-quality services, with fast onboarding, leveraging institutional knowledge. We offer our consultants a diverse portfolio of projects, providing them with the chance to work across our firm. Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • is in their penultimate year of study and will graduate by June 2028
  • has initial experience in working in a project-based environment
  • has analytical and conceptual skillset with a problem-solving, pragmatic attitude
  • is interested in the financial services industry and energized by working in fast-paced environments with high expectations and tight deadlines
  • has strong written communication and presentation skills
  • is proficient in written and spoken English, other languages a plus
  • has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
  • is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
  • can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency

Your program

During your 10-week paid internship, you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm.

You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
