Senior Engineering Executive

We are seeking an innovative and dedicated engineer to oversee M&E operations in a commercial building, ensuring systems are managed effectively and assist with solutions to challenges.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of M&E technicians, providing guidance on troubleshooting and daily operations.

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of Mechanical & Electrical systems, including ACMV, electrical power, fire protection, BMS, and plumbing systems.

• Conduct regular inspections of M&E facilities to ensure safety and optimal operation, recommending repairs or replacements as necessary.

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive maintenance programmes to ensure compliance with schedules and industry standards.

• Review and certify service reports and contractors' claims before payment.

• Administer maintenance contracts, including preparation of specifications and evaluation of tenders.

• Manage ad-hoc repair projects, including scope preparation and contractor supervision.

• Plan and execute M&E Capital Expenditure projects, overseeing budgeting and completion.

• Evaluate tenants’ fit-out and renovation submissions for compliance with regulations and design standards.

• Respond to tenant feedback and maintenance requests, ensuring efficient rectification with minimal disruption.

• Monitor utilities consumption and prepare reports, recommending energy-saving initiatives.

• Ensure timely renewal of all statutory licenses and compliance with regulatory requirements related to M&E systems.

• Maintain proper documentation for maintenance activities and regulatory compliance.

• Perform additional responsibilities or projects as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

• High level of initiative coupled with solid interpersonal and communication skills.
