Responsibilities

• Report to the traffic control team and follow assigned schedules
• Maintain continuous radio communication during operations
• Ensure timely delivery of import cargo and collection of export cargo
• Verify and confirm all required documentation, including delivery notes and pickup orders
• Endorse permits at customs checkpoints accurately and promptly
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and uphold cleanliness standards
• Report any damages to vehicle or cargo arising from incidents
• Check, tally, and handle cargo with care to prevent discrepancies
• Safeguard company assets and equipment during operations
• Report any cargo discrepancies encountered during duties
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations and procedures
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in prime mover driving
• Possess valid Singapore Class 4 or Class 5 driving license
• Familiar with PSA import, export, and trucking procedures
• Knowledge of container yard operations
