(Senior) / Assistant Manager (Dental)

We are seeking an experienced operations professional to oversee the daily operations of undergraduate dental clinics, ensuring exceptional patient care and educational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to enhance service delivery while managing a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise approximately 30 staff members across the clinics.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clinical and educational matters.
  • Ensure effective staff deployment and optimal use of resources.
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvements.
  • Coordinate staff rostering to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Draft specifications and manage equipment procurement and commissioning.
  • Evaluate capital investments, raise purchase orders, and monitor vendor performance.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and spare parts management.
  • Oversee equipment decommissioning and disposal processes.
  • Manage patient feedback, incidents, and accidents in compliance with regulations.
  • Serve as a liaison with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
  • Coordinate response actions and service recovery efforts.
  • Support responses to queries from relevant authorities and manage audit processes.
  • Coordinate system access setups for new staff and ensure timely activation for new personnel.
  • Support the rollout of clinical systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT to resolve system-related issues.
  • Assist in planning, budgeting, and resource optimisation efforts.
  • Ensure alignment of resources with service and sustainability objectives.
  • Uphold compliance with governance standards and hospital policies.
  • Participate in departmental operations, reporting, and additional projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
  • Proven analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Self-driven with the capacity to work independently under pressure.
  • Proactive, accountable, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and automation tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate, Power Query).
