Legal Specialist - JY

• Working Hours: 9am - 5.30pm
• Location: Promenade
• Salary: up to $5,000 (Depending on experiences)

Job Description

• Manage contracts depository
• Draft and/or review contracts, legal documents and correspondences
• Support in the negotiation of contracts and transactions
• Provide advice to stakeholders on risks and legal issues
• Monitoring and identifying legal issues as and when they arise and recommend course of action
• Support in dispute resolution and legal proceedings as and when they arise
• Provide training to stakeholders
• Support in the implementation of Personal Data Protection Act or equivalent in affiliates within the Asia region
• Coordinate and collaborate with external legal advisers and internal departments when the need arises
• Support in legal research
• Support ISO and ISCC related matters
• Support in compliance related matters and corporate governance matters
• Attend to any other ad-hoc administrative, legal and compliance matters

• Min 2 years of experience in corporate legal
• Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) / Diploma holder in legal studies or law and management (or equivalent)
• Attention to detail and meticulous
• Strong sense of responsibility and initiative
• Good understanding in Company Law, Contract Law and data privacy law
• Ability to conduct legal research
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good drafting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Chinese language reading & speaking ability to understand contracts in Chinese and communicate with Chinese speaking clients
