(Senior) Executive, Nursing Admin

This position offers an opportunity to provide essential administrative support within a healthcare setting, focusing on patient service associates and nursing operations management. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing staff development and engagement programs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support initiatives to redesign the role of Patient Service Associates (PSAs), ensuring alignment with evolving healthcare needs.
  • Facilitate career progression planning for PSAs, identifying growth opportunities and developing career ladders.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance PSAs' competencies through regular meetings and focused training sessions.
  • Manage inpatient staffing operations, including recruitment, retention, and specific manpower requirements, while supporting nursing teams in operational tasks.
  • Standardize operational workflows across departments and provide troubleshooting support for system-related issues.
  • Participate in the PSA Day Committee, coordinating events and representing the department in cross-functional project teams.
  • Engage in national-level projects related to healthcare systems, contributing to workflow design and supporting project implementations.
  • Manage the full process for various nursing awards, coordinating nominations and organizing award ceremonies.
  • Oversee the management of nursing education training facilities and resources, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Support additional nursing administration needs as necessary, including the organization of related events and workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Arts and Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new software applications.
  • Interest in healthcare operations with adaptability to the hospital environment.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic work settings while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with a high level of accountability and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, interacting effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively, supporting leadership initiatives effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an adaptable mindset towards changes.
  • Proactive in identifying process improvements and supporting change management initiatives.
