Assistant Application Manager, Architecture, Applications &BI (1 year Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Module: SAP Business Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Responsible for techno-functional development and support of SAP BW/BI applications & system
• Participate in the technical development as per assignments in change request, service request, and defect fixing
• Perform analysis of business requirements & code programs as per SAP coding standards
• Manage / coordinate software change & release management as per department's process & procedures.
• Develop application documentation and user guides
• Coordinate & provide user support during user acceptance test and post implementation
• Provide application production support to business units
• Collaborate with internal teams or/& vendors on assignments to deliver as per agreed timelines
• Impact analysis for the change request & enhancements
• Responsible for BW job monitoring
• Support month-end reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Computer Science or related field

OTHER INFORMATION

• Detailed knowledge of SAP BW modules in SAP BW 7.x
• SAP HANA Studio environments with knowledge of Hana Calculation View, HANA SQL
• Strong ABAP programming skills specifically on user exits, BADI, and routines in BW staging and reporting, and custom extractors
• Knowledge of BO reporting tools such as SAP Crystal Reports, SAP Webi, SAP Analysis for Office are added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SAP BW and SAP BOBJ
• Extensive experience in SAP BW/4 HANA
• Extensive knowledge in data modelling, particularly on BW/4HANA concept
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication, relationship skills, and a strong team player
• Knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage
