You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping students' learning journeys and helping them achieve their academic potential.

At The Classroom, we have been delivering exceptional educational experiences in Science, Maths, and Physics since 2009. Our team is on a mission to provide the best learning experience to Sec 1 to 4 students, using innovative pedagogical methods that make science fun and engaging. Over the years, we’ve helped close to 3,000 students achieve academic success through clear, effective teaching and meticulously crafted lessons.

Your Role: As a Secondary Science & Math Teacher at The Classroom, you will:

• Classroom & Learning Management: Manage both online and on-site lessons, ensuring students' needs and motivations are understood and met.
• Lesson Preparation & Delivery: Prepare and deliver well-crafted Science and/or Math lessons for Secondary students. Lessons that simplify complex concepts, address common misconceptions, and foster a love for learning. You’ll spark curiosity by integrating fun, practical experiments with your teaching.
• Content Creation: Create engaging learning materials that include worksheets, quizzes, and even digital content like videos or articles, enabling students to learn beyond the classroom.
• Communication with Parents: Regularly update parents on their child’s progress, offering insights and recommendations to support their development.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a fun yet disciplined learning environment to keep students focused while ensuring they enjoy the learning experience.
• Engage Students: Use creative teaching strategies to bring scientific concepts to life, making your lessons engaging, interactive, and memorable.

Requirements

• Strong Academic Background: You should have a solid understanding and strong academic foundation in Science and/or Mathematics.
• Teaching Experience: Prior experience teaching or tutoring is highly preferred, whether in schools, learning centres, or through volunteer work.
• Engaging Personality: You need to be able to make learning fun and approachable, infusing joy and excitement into your lessons.
• Adaptability & Drive: You must be committed to professional growth and willing to take on new challenges in your teaching journey.
• Strong Communication Skills: Be comfortable engaging with students, parents, and colleagues in a professional yet approachable manner.
