Linux Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions on Linux platforms.
• Develop scripts and automation tools using Shell, Python, Perl, or other scripting languages.
• Configure and support middleware, APIs, message queues, and integration services.
• Integrate Linux systems with enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party solutions.
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, and maintenance of Linux servers and applications.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot integration-related issues.

Skills/Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in Linux administration, development, or systems integration.
• Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, Linux Foundation, or cloud certifications are an advantage.
• Strong experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, SUSE).
• Proficiency in Shell scripting (Bash/Ksh) and Python.
• Experience with API integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
• Knowledge of middleware and integration technologies.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
