Strategic Project Lead, SG Marketplace & Retail

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and profitability across Shopee Singapore’s businesses, in alignment with business priorities

  • Manage category growth and profitability initiatives across relevant business areas

  • Structure ambiguous business problems through opportunity sizing, benchmarking, analysis, and scalable strategy development

  • Support Shopee’s AI capability building by identifying use cases, driving the deployment of AI-enabled capabilities, and improving business workflows

  • Deliver end-to-end strategic projects, from development and implementation to business case realisation

  • Develop materials for senior stakeholders to support timely and effective communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field; a Master’s degree would be advantageous but is not required

  • Minimum 2 years of full-time strategy working experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm

  • Exposure to consumer, retail, e-commerce, category management, or AI-related projects would be advantageous

  • Familiarity with AI, chatbots, automation tools, or technology-enabled workflow improvements is beneficial

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand category performance, seller needs, and buyer behaviour

  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams, external partners, or suppliers in a dynamic and collaborative environment
