Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to manage and lead the company's technical operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the technical team in carrying out daily operations and project activities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor technical projects to ensure they are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, technicians, and project staff.
  • Develop and implement technical procedures, work processes, and best practices.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify technical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize project delays.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants throughout project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare technical reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Evaluate new technologies, equipment, and systems to improve operational efficiency.
  • Plan manpower allocation and oversee staff performance and development.
  • Conduct technical training and mentoring for team members.
  • Manage project budgets, technical resources, and procurement of materials when required.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules and equipment inspections are carried out effectively.
  • Support business development by providing technical expertise during project planning and tender submissions.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant technical or engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of technical operations, project management, and quality management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
