The Researcher will play a key role in advancing powersystems portfolio, with a focus on Power SCADA, Power Management Systems (PMS),Power Plant Controllers (PPC), and grid integration technologies.

The role involves hands-on development, system integration,and advanced controls engineering, supporting both internal platformdevelopment and deployment across emerging applications such as renewable energy,electrification, and distributed energy systems.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with our sustainability goals.
  2. Identify emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and market opportunities.
  3. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  4. Take ownership in designing, developing, and implementing sustainable solutions.
  5. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  6. Ensure successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  7. Engage with startups, research institutions and industry experts.
  8. Build strategic partnerships to accelerate technology adoption.
  9. Represent client at conferences, workshops, and industry events.
  10. Identify and evaluate emerging trends in new energy systems & Grid stability technologies etc
  11. Contribute to R&D roadmaps, Prototype development and proofs-of-concept, IP creation and patent filing

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate degree in computer science, engineering or a related field (Postgraduate preferred for Senior Researcher position).
  • 5-12 years of experience in end-to-end software development and deployments in Power SCADA / PMS, Power system controls and automation for distributed or utility-scale power systems

    Relevant software applications development skills needed to support the research & development work

    Renewable energy plants (solar, wind, hybrid systems)

    Microgrids / DER systems

    Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

    Electric transportation systems

    Industrial electrification and energy transition
