Secondary School Teacher

About the Role

We are looking for a committed part-time Secondary School tuition teacher to join our team. You will teach small-group classes in English, Mathematics, and/or Science to students from Secondary 1 to Secondary 5 (IP/N/O-Level tracks), helping them strengthen fundamentals and prepare confidently for school and national examinations.

This role requires a minimum weekly commitment of at least one weekday and one weekend, across our two Bukit Timah branches. Exact timings will be confirmed based on class schedules and mutual availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, MOE-syllabus-aligned lessons for assigned Secondary level subject(s)
• Manage small-group classroom teaching, ensuring students stay on pace with the curriculum
• Mark and provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and practice papers
• Track individual student progress and flag learning gaps early
• Communicate professionally with parents and coordinators on student performance
• Prepare or adapt teaching materials (worksheets, revision notes, practice questions) as needed
• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and encouraging classroom environment

What We're Looking For

• Diploma/Degree holder, or currently pursuing one, in a relevant discipline (Education, English, Mathematics, or a Science field preferred)
• Prior tuition, teaching, or relevant subject coaching experience strongly preferred; former or current MOE teachers welcome to apply
• Strong command of the Secondary school English, Mathematics, or Science syllabus (IP/N/O-Level)
• Able to explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching style to different student abilities
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit consistently to at least one weekday and one weekend per week
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Passionate about helping students improve and build confidence in their studies
